InScience Film Festival

2026 | InScience Film Festival | Nijmegen / LUX

InScience Film Festival Nijmegen is an international science film festival that explores the intersection of film, science, and society. Through a diverse programme of films, talks, and events, the festival brings together filmmakers, researchers, and audiences to reflect on urgent societal questions and new perspectives.

The 2026 edition revolved around the theme “The Things We Do For Love”, exploring love in its many forms: from intimacy and care to obsession, sacrifice, and ethical dilemmas. The programme examined how love influences human behavior, decision-making, and societal structures, offering both scientific and artistic perspectives on one of the most fundamental human experiences.

For the 2026 edition, I was the Office Manager, supporting both the organisational and operational side of the festival. My work included contributing to grant applications, managing HR processes such as contracts and insurance, and maintaining agendas and communication channels. I was in close contact with partners, funds, participants, and guests, and organised and minute (board) meetings. In addition, I coordinated audience research and supported the practical execution of the festival, including ticketing systems, accreditations, guest logistics, and the guest desk on-site.
